Local Cell Index¶

Local Cell Index is a scalar coefficient with one value for each cell. It gives the cell number in the current MPI process. Two processes can use the same number. For a unique number, use the Global Cell Index.

The number can change after refinement or repartitioning. Use it only to find a cell.
